Chief Engineer's Message
As the Government servants, it is imperative that we uphold certain values not just for our professional development but also for the betterment of society. Two key principles I want to emphasize are punctuality and honesty.
Punctuality is not just about arriving at the office on time; it signifies our commitment to our work and respect for our colleagues. By being punctual, we set a positive example for others and create a culture of efficiency and productivity within our team. Arriving on time allows us to start our day with focus and dedication, ultimately contributing to the success of our projects and the overall progress of our organization.
Honesty is another fundamental value that should guide our actions and decisions every day. In our line of work as engineers, integrity and transparency are crucial. We must always strive to be truthful in our communication, data analysis, and project reporting. Honesty builds trust among team members, stakeholders, and the community at large, which is essential for the sustainable growth and development of our Islands.
As members of this APWD family, each of us plays a vital role in shaping the future through our work. By practicing punctuality and honesty, we not only enhance our professional reputation but also contribute positively to the advancement of society. Let us work together with integrity, dedication, and a shared vision of creating a better society through our engineering endeavors.
I urge all my colleagues to reflect on these values and commit to upholding them in our daily work. Let us embrace punctuality and honesty as guiding principles, driving us towards excellence and making a meaningful impact on our beautiful Islands.
